Hollow Beat is an atmospheric action-adventure game about a young woman beset with troubles both personal and supernatural. It was developed by Cult Quiet Collaborative, a group of Boston-area university students.
It follows the story of Kae as the worst night of her life takes a turn for the nightmarish; a rain-drenched breakup, a broken phone, and a mirror dimension full of twisted reflections of her fears. Shifting uncontrollably between reality and the shadowy realm known as the Hollow, Kae must attempt to navigate the terrors of both without falling victim to her inner demons.
Hollow Beat was developed in Unity over a period of 6 months. I was primarily responsible for graphics and shader programming, as well as other subsystems including dialogue and scene management.
